SUPPORT FOR EVERY STEP OF YOUR JOURNEY

RESOURCE NAVIGATION

Helping individuals identify needs, navigate community resources, and connect with appropriate services and supports.

PEER RECOVERY COACHING

Peer-based support from individuals with lived experience focused on recovery goals, connection, encouragement, and individualized pathways to recovery.

EMPLOYMENT & WORKFORCE SUPPORT

Assistance with resumes, job searches, applications, computer access, workplace readiness, and other employment services.

SOBER LIVING ASSISTANCE

Financial assistance for eligible individuals entering or maintaining recovery. Provided in collaboration with the Northwest Wayne Chapter of Face Addiction Now (FAN).

TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE

Support intended to reduce transportation barriers related to recovery services, appointments, employment, and other essential needs when resources are available.

TRAINING & EDUCATION

Community education, professional training, continuing education opportunities, overdose prevention, Narcan education, and other recovery-related trainings.

RECOVERY SUPPORT GROUPS

Peer-led and community-based meetings representing multiple pathways and approaches to recovery.

SOBER SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

Opportunities for people to have fun, develop relationships, and build a supportive recovery community outside of formal treatment or meetings.

PREVENTION & EDUCATION

Prevention programming for youth, families, schools, and the broader community through education, life skills, workshops, and evidence-informed programming.

Above the Haze - Marijuana Anonymous

Struggling with cannabis use? You’re not alone. Above the Haze is a welcoming Marijuana Anonymous (MA) meeting for anyone seeking support in changing their relationship with marijuana. Whether you’re just beginning to question your use or have been in recovery for some time, this is a safe, non-judgmental space to share, listen, and grow. Join us in person or virtually and connect with a supportive community—one day at a time. No pressure. Just support.

SMART Recovery

SMART Recovery Family & Friends

SMART Family & Friends is a supportive meeting for people who are affected by a loved one’s substance use or other addictive behaviors. The program provides practical tools to help family members and friends strengthen their own coping and self-care while learning healthier, more effective ways to communicate with and support their loved one. Based on principles from cognitive behavioral therapy and CRAFT (Community Reinforcement and Family Training), meetings focus on your wellbeing, your relationships, and the things you can control without requiring you to detach from or give up on someone you care about. You do not need to have a loved one currently in treatment or recovery to attend.

SMART Recovery

SMART Recovery is a welcoming, peer-supported meeting for anyone seeking to make positive changes related to substance use or other addictive behaviors. Using practical, evidence-informed tools, SMART Recovery helps participants build motivation, manage urges, work through thoughts and behaviors, and create a balanced and meaningful life in recovery. SMART Recovery supports multiple pathways to recovery and welcomes individuals at any stage of the change process. There is no requirement to identify with a particular label or follow a specific recovery philosophy – just a desire to make a change.

Recovery Action Network of Michigan (RANMI) is a peer-led Recovery Community Organization serving Western Wayne County. We support individuals and families affected by substance use, mental health challenges, and other life challenges through peer support, education, resources, connection, and hope.

We believe in multiple pathways to recovery. There is no single right way to recover, and we are here to help you find the approach that works for you. Our staff and volunteers have lived experience, and we understand because we have been there.
